Coaching Opportunities

The Country Swimming Championships draws together a great number of coaches from Regional and Remote Australia and there isn't a better opportunity to utilise this gathering to increase the knowledge and skills amongst this vital component of the swimming industry throughout Australia. We are currently working with Swimming Australia to try an organise a coach workshop during the event. Knowing the stress and strain large meets can put on coaches, we are mindful that we need to keep this brief and meaningful. We will update this page when we have further information

In addition to this, SNT can confirm that we will be conducting a Development Coaching course (or the equivalent coaching license course, given the coaching framework review currently being undertaken by Swimming Australia) on Tuesday 1st October, with the assistance of Swimming Australia and SCTA. This course will run from approximately 8am until 4pm, numbers depending. Registration is now open through the link below.

Now with no restrictions on participants of recent Foundation courses doing the Development Course immediately, without the standard 6-month waiting period - there has never been a better time to get your qualifications that will give you an incredibly rewarding career for many years to come.
