The Future of Australian Swim Coaching

The Swimming Australia Coahing Framework is being showcased at the 2025 Country Swimming Championships by Swimming Australia, with the team coming to Darwin ahead of the October 1st rollout of the future of Coaching in Australia.

The Country Swimming Championships draws together a great number of coaches from Regional and Remote Australia and there isn't a better opportunity to utilise this gathering to increase the knowledge and skills amongst this vital component of the swimming industry throughout Australia. The opportunity to grow mentoring circles, while getting the most up-to-date information regarding the new coaching framework, is a fantastic chance to be the first in Australia to hear  We are currently working with Swimming Australia to put onan organise a coach workshop during the event. Knowing the stress and strain large meets can put on coaches, we are mindful that we need to keep this brief and meaningful. We will update this page when we have further information​.

Unfortunately, due to delays implementing the new coaching framework into Swim Central, the team won't be able to make it up to Darwin for the Country Swimming Championships. Nicole Webster apologises, but the important action here is to forge through to get the job completed. There will be a wealth of information out shortly, once the final hurdles have been crossed.
