2025 Country Swimming Championships

The 2025 Country Swimming Championships are again going to be held at Parap Pool in Darwin with a variety of activities taking place from the 26th September until the 1st October 2025. Full details can be found in the Pre-Meet Information Booklet.

This year we are aiming to get more swimmers from more regional clubs visiting, ready  to have a great experience involving the sport they love, as well as enjoying the company of and making life long friends from around Australia. In addition to the undertaking of the Swimming Championships we are planning on making the trip very worthwhile for all stakeholders and participants by having a plethora of supporting activities taking place to make this a true festival of swimming.

ANNOUNCEMENT - this year, the Country Swimming Championships is incredibly excited to be offering the 25yrs and over category for our Masters Swimmers. Come and join our exciting young regional stars and continue your love of swimming in a competitive, inclusive and exciting arena.

Aside from an action packed 4 days of fast and intense heat and final swimming action, Swimming Northern Territory is looking forward to providing a range of activities for swimmers, coaches and technical officials, whilst providing a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all attendees.

​

These activities are outlined further on this website but Swimming Northern Territory is working to undertake the following:

​

• Phoenix Foundation JX Clinic for 9-13yr old swimmers on Thursday 26th September from midday until 2.30pm.

• Senior swimmer session with an athlete talk on Thursday 26th September from 3pm.

• An event reception to welcome all of our visitors and supporters to Darwin at the NT Parliament House from 6pm.

• Our excellent food vendors providing a great variety of awesome food to keep you gastronomically engaged.

• Development Coaching Course run by Swim Australia  on Wednesday 1st October.

• Technical Official workshop outlining various topics and a general Q & A session on Thursday 26th September. With a get to know you lunch.

• Elite Athlete attendance and meeting opportunities throughout the Championship. There will, hopefully, be an exciting announcement on this shortly.
